5 SUNDAY NIGHT RITUALS FOR A Successful Week
Sunday’s are for planning! This is the day that you can reflect on your previous week and prepare for the week that is ahead of you. We all know how fascinating Monday’s can be.
Why stress and look like this guy when you can set your week up for success!
Here are 5 steps that I implement every single Sunday for the last 2 years. Follow me on Instagram @MsTaraCarter for my accountability system I have behind it so you can see I never miss one!
Before you check your schedule for what is to come the week ahead, be sure to reflect on what your wins and opportunities were for the previous week.
I use a weekly preview system effectively by keeping track of my BOLD Planner (Find it at www.FullFocusPlanner.com.)
Step 1: My Biggest Wins – List 3-5 major accomplishments from the past week
Step 2: After Action Review – Refer to your last Weekly Big 3 Rocks to accomplish
How far did you get? What percentage is that? What worked? What didn’t? What will you keep, improve, start, or stop doing?
Step 4: Weekly Overview – List important events, deadlines, and tasks in the coming week
Break them down between personal and professional items. Once broken down, go one step further and write which days you will be completing those.
Step 5: Weekly Big 3 – List three objectives to advance your goals and projects this week
Step 6: Self-Care Planner – Brainstorm in the categories below and then schedule your rejuvenation on your daily agenda pages for the week in each
Time to check the weather for the upcoming week & see what you need to prepare for that is currently on your schedule for appointments.
Unless you’re like me and have an extra wardrobe, flamingo rain boots, 5 umbrellas, work out clothes and plenty of different shoes to throw on in the trunk of your car. #SouthFloridaGirlProblems
The easiest way to avoid any morning closet craze is to plan your wardrobe in advance. I purchased a hanging wardrobe rack from WayFair.com for less than $30 to make this step even easier!
Also, for the last 3 years, I have worn a “uniform” and stick to my branding colors of BLACK, PINK, or WHITE. It makes shopping so easy too!
I leverage the delivery service from the app SHIPT (use my code below for $10 off.) There is security in knowing what you will eat for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and more! Do the prep work upfront to make your week smoother and stress-free.
You must protect your #1 asset, which is YOU. Make time for you. It is essential that you do something on Sunday that is just. for. you. If you can’t take time for yourself, you will not show up the way you want to for others.
